To prepare for the future launch of the new support service for building maintenance works, the Government has announced that applications for joining inclusion in the "pre-qualified lists" are open to interested consultants and contractors for four weeks starting 30 September. The goal is to have the vetted "pre-qualified lists" available progressively by the end of this year, and to begin tendering projects for property owners in the first quarter of next year. In future, only consultants and contractors on the "pre-qualified lists" will be eligible to submit tenders for projects under the new support service.
The "pre-qualified lists" under the new support service will cover three categories: Inspection Consultants, Supervision Consultants, and Building Works Contractors. The lists of consultants and contractors under the "Smart Tender — E-Tendering Platform" and Round 3 of "Operation Building Bright 2.0", previously available on this webpage, are no longer applicable and have been removed.
